When it comes to emergency supply chain management, a little preparedness goes a long way. Investing relatively small amounts of time and resources up-front to reach a minimum level of preparedness can significantly improve outcomes for vulnerable populations when an epidemic occurs, minimizing the impact on people and infrastructure. The USAID Global Health Supply Chain - Technical Assistance Francophone Task Order project has developed a framework to help countries get their supply chains ready for emergencies – from disease outbreaks to natural disasters.
