Description

The Laboratory Efficiency and Quality Improvement Planning (LabEQIP) tool is a GIS-based solution that helps improve laboratory network efficiency and advance quality service delivery through data-driven optimization. LabEQIP is for use by ministries of health, donors, and other key stakeholders who work in national laboratory health program development. The most common use of the tool is to improve instrument placement strategies, referral network optimization, external quality audit (EQA) monitoring and performance review, and human resources coverage.

LabEQIP was originally created by LLamasoft with funding from USAID in partnership with CDC under the USAID’s Supply Chain Management System project. LabEQIP is currently managed under GHSC-PSM (Contract No. AID-OAA-I-15-00004) with funding from USAID.
