Afya Ugavi is a five-year health system strengthening activity funded by USAID under the Global Health Supply Chain – Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) contract.

The USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program-Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) project enhances the health care experience in the communities we serve through transformative supply chain solutions.  The project is supported with funding from the U.S.

Across Africa, governments and donors have made progress in getting medicines into African countries. However, the medicine does not always reach the health facilities where people collect it, and nearly 50% of people lack access to these critical medicines.

The Promoting the Quality of Medicines (PQM) program helps low- and middle-income countries strengthen the systems that ensure the quality and increase the supply of priority medicines. PQM is funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development and implemented by USP.

FHI 360 is the prime contractor for the USAID Global Health Supply Chain - Quality Assurance Program (GHSC-QA). The program is led by FHI 360’s Product Quality and Compliance (PQC) department based in Durham, North Carolina.
