The USAID GHSC-PSM project has worked to ensure the continued supply of contraceptives in Nigeria, Africa’s most populous country, since 2016, helping avert an estimated 2.3 million unplanned pregnancies, 12,000 maternal deaths and 57,000 child deaths in the first five years alone.
