In Guinea, challenges in establishing regulations to govern the pharmaceutical sector have allowed for unregulated private pharmacies to proliferate. Private pharmaceutical establishments–including pharmaceutical wholesalers, medical industries, promotional agencies, and points of sale–are often unregulated and present the greatest risks to patients.
